The Freaks were born in the summer of 1985 in Aston in Birmingham.  We were all students at the University and some of us had just graduated.  We needed somewhere to live while we entered that transition phase between Student Life and Earning a Living with a Job.

We located 138 Washwood Heath Road - This became Freak Manor.  The original inhabitants were:

Over time, despite the best Freak efforts, most, if not all, of us got jobs around the world.  Today many of us are married.  Some have kids.  But the Freak spirit lives on in our annual holidays and regular events and parties.
